The UK Parliament Education and Engagement Team aims to inform, engage and empower young people to understand, and get involved in, Parliament, politics and democracy. The team offer a year-found programme of events for schools and teachers including visits to Westminster, school-based workshops and teacher training, education projects and active learning competitions.
Over the last academic year 72,261 students from 2,316 schools were welcomed to Parliament via the education programmes of these 790 students were from the Ealing North constituency and included visits from the following schools:
- Mayfield Primary School
- Selborne Primary School
- Mandeville School
- Ravenor Primary School
- Perivale Primary School
- Coston Primary School
- Hobbayne Primary School
- North Ealing Primary School
- Woodlands Academy
- Gifford Primary School
- Wood End Academy
- Edward Betham Church of England Primary School
Outreach officers also engaged with 60 students from Oldfield Primary School. Several other schools arranged their own visits through my office.
